Stroud Skate Crew are putting on a Sunday afternoon Jam Skate, the 3rd Jam skate on Stroud Brewery's lush polished concrete floors.

DJ - Fade returns with a master mixing vinyl only set playing the beats we love to skate to joined by DJ - Sam Tweaks first appearance at a SSC event.

Stroud Skate Crew was founded by 3 enthusiastic skaters from the Stroud area who were traveling all over the place to get their skate fix (Bristol, Bath, London, Barcelona…) After sharing an enthusiasm for the music and good sound systems or the frustration of the lack of it! They decided to reach out to the Stroud area to see if there is an appetite for roller skating.

With a suspicion that the community in Stroud would be really up for this, the first event happened June 2023 at the Brewery with a summer festival feel. Their suspicions were right, the community is building with regular practice sessions, visiting guest teachers, performance opportunities, a film screening and party at this years Stroud Film Festival and an 80s themed roller disco for the Good On Paper Feb party. Stroud Skate Crew are on a roll and it has not even been a year yet!

The Brewery Skate Jams has the atmosphere of a private party with a capacity of only 40 for skating so get your tickets quick and come and skate with us.

Sam Tweaks

Party rocking, vinyl slinging DJ - Sam Tweaks, Twitch award winning vinyl DJ who has spun alongside DJ Nu-Mark, Scratch Bastid, Cut Chemist, A Skillz, Krafty Kuts and was handpicked to perform at Grandmaster Flash's Birthday earlier this year.

DJ Fade

Diggin' in the crates since '88... Fade is a UK based DJ, who has held DJ residencies across the South West & Midlands since 2001. He has worked with music magazines (Big Daddy/Grandslam), major record labels (Atlantic/Warner - on campaigns for: Jay Z/J Cole/Lupe Fiasco etc) and music equipment brands (DJ Tech/Magma/Mixars etc) and has shared stages with UK artists such as Children Of Zeus, Estelle, Skepta, Terri Walker & Wiley, as well as world-renowned international DJs like Yella (NWA) & Grandmaster Flash.

In 2010, he founded his own events brand "WAX", as a response to the music industry's hard push away from the vinyl record format.
