About Mel On Wheels Inter Skate Dance Class | Stroud Skate Crew | 17 November

Stroud Skate Crew have invited Yorkshire based Jam, rhythm and dance skater Mel.

Growing up Mel was a competitive Ballroom and Latin dancer and has experience teaching dance and choreographing routines. Since getting her first pair of skates in May 2020, Mel has trained in a variety of skating styles from Artistic to Jam skating.

Mel is now sharing her love and skate knowledge with the community at her roller skate dance workshops.

In this 1.5 hr class you will be introduced to key skills needed to dance on skates and learn a fun skill packed routine. The style will be influenced by latin and jazz and you will come away with a short routine to practice in your own time.

The class is set at intermediate level but variations will be provided for different skate abilities. No prior knowledge of skate dance required but you will need to feel comfortable in your own skates.
