About Forróbristol Party
Forró Bristol proudly presents our first Forró party of this term 2024-25 with DJ Jeferson coming directly from London!
DJ Jeferson joined the forró community in 2011 and since then, he has dedicated his life to keep his Northeastern tradition alive at the main Forró festivals. His journey into the world of Forró began as a music enthusiast, but soon evolved into something deeper as he explored the roots of this genre that has become a personal and professional passion.
His influences range from great masters such as Luiz Gonzaga and Ary Lobo, through iconic groups such as Trio Nordestino and Trio Dona Zefa, to outstanding female names such as Marlene Vidal and Marinalva.
Join us for this incredible night of live music and Forró dance-a traditional Brazilian partner dance.
We will also have a Forró class with Denis Veloso, our favourite and local Forró teacher. The class will be ideal for ‘forrozeiros' and complete beginners alike.
Door opens at 7.45pm.

Note that ‘On the same day tickets’ will be sold at £13 at the door.
