About Farndon Rocks Band and Beer Festival 2025
It is year four of Farndon Rocks and our volunteers, along with our sponsors, are working hard to make it bigger and be er than ever.
The advance ticket price for Saturday (as well as the price for both days) includes a free drink so be sure to buy your tickets in advance as entry on the day will be the same price – but without the drink so don’t miss out! As in previous years there will be no charge for under 18’s but we will be applying a strict Challenge 25 policy so if you are lucky enough to look younger than you are be sure to bring ID. Wristbands will again be issued to ticket holders – no wristband, no alcohol!
We are kicking off on Friday evening with Scratchband (with a mix of music genres) followed by Blozone with their exciting mixture of Soul, Motown and Pop. The bar will be open from 5pm with the music starting around 7pm
Saturday sees the afternoon starting at around 2.30pm with Uke–Can Be Heroes, our very local ukulele band followed by disco and soul from Soulshine Collective. Charlie’s Trio will again be treating us to their amazing contemporary acoustic music and the evening will be brought to a close with NorthStar so everyone can dance the night away. The evening will finish around 10pm
Real ale is, as always, the star of the show and this year we will be featuring Spitting Feathers, Weetwood, Big Hand and many others. A variety of spirits, wines, ciders, lager and so drinks will, of course, be available.
Reeno’s Pizza will be on hand to fill the hunger gaps on Friday evening and food on Saturday will be provided by Pizza Peddlers, Fully Loaded Grill for amazing burgers and fries and Chitchat Bakery for sweet treats. Oh, and an ice cream van, of course.
Also covering the weekend will be local DJ Henry Scott who will keep us entertained between acts.
There will be football on the field, netball on the MUGA, and a bouncy castle to keep the younger people occupied.
Please support our generous sponsors who helped us raise so much for our Raise the Roof fund over the last two years. As 2028 will mark 50 years since the Club first opened, we are launching Project 28, a fund to enable us to carry out all the improvement work which has been on hold for the past two years and means we will be able to make the facility an even better one for the local community.
