About Bluebell Walk | Sunday 12th May 2024
Enjoy the sights and smells of an unspoilt bluebell wood, an experience enjoyed down the centuries as the perfect embodiment of a traditional English springtime.
The walk will start from the garden at the front of the Hall and will take you through the stunning grounds of Chillington which were all designed by Lancelot 'Capability' Brown in the 1760's.
The walk will be around 1.5 hours long and will return to the garden at the Hall for hot drinks and biscuits served on the sun terrace.
Start time will be 10.00am, the tour will leave promptly and will not wait for any late arrivals so please arrive at least 10 minutes before the walk departs.
Please note that the route into the wood is off-track and therefore is unsuitable for pushchairs, wheelchairs or motorised scooters. It is often muddy in places so please wear suitable footwear and dogs are welcome to join us but they must remain on a lead at all times.
