A Celebration in Film for the Centenary of the Helensburgh is the birthplace of John Logie Baird the inventor of Television.

October 2nd this year is the centenary of the first TV transmission and January 26th 2026 is the centenary of the demonstration of Bairds invention to the Royal Institute in London

As a Community Cinema we are holding screenings on both dates to celebrate Baird's life and achievements

Screening at the Annexe 1 of Helensburgh Civic Centre.

Car parking on site, Bus stop outside and train station a 8 min walk away.

Seats unallocated but good views.

Warm comfortable historic venue.
