About the event and the Dungarees
A Country Christmas evening of bluegrass, country, folk & roots music featuring
The Dungarees plus support from the duo ShuQroots.
The Dungarees were formed in 2023 by singer songwriter Jerry Cox.
Jerry's musical roots go way back to the Norwich band scene of the late 70's where he was a driving force for bands such as Half Cut...The Fat Controler..Greenhouse..The Fabulous Brothers to name but a few, All of those bands performed original material written by Jerry.
The Dungarees play a blend of bluegrass influenced music with a country feel and an emphasis on vocal harmony.
They play mostly original songs written by Jerry ,some of which go way back to the 80's. Some were written just sitting by a camp fire..Others have been written specifically for the Dungarees.
These, then combined with a few well known covers promises to make a good varied set.
The Dungarees look forward to seeing you at Sharrington Village Hall on 13 December to share this musical journey with you.
