Join us for a late summer recital in the beautiful setting of St Faith’s Church, Overbury. Violinist Shuwei Zuo and pianist Jiayi Chen will be performing Schubert’s Violin Sonata in A major, Three Pieces for Violin by celebrated local Worcestershire composer Ian Venables, Kreisler’s Caprice Viennois and concluding with Elgar’s poignant and intimate Violin Sonata.

At Shuwei and Jiayi’s recent performance of Elgar’s Violin Sonata as part of the 2025 Elgar Festival, Elgar’s great niece, Hilary Elgar, commented that she had never heard a more inspiring interpretation of this well-loved work.

The proceeds of this event are being donated to support St Faith’s Church.
