It’s year five of Farndon Rocks and our volunteers, along with our sponsors, are working hard to make it bigger and better than ever.

The music kicks off on Friday evening at 6pm with something new – Open Mic All Stars. Prepare to be amazed! Soulshine Collection will follow at 7pm with their lively combination of disco and soul and the evening will finish with popular local band The Method.

Saturday sees the afternoon starting around 3pm with Uke Can Be Heroes who entertained us so well last year followed by an acoustic mix from Leon Scott. Charlie and Will Rigby will again be treating us to their amazing contemporary acoustic music and they will be followed by Will Blume who blew us all away with his playing of the didgeridoo last year. Once again, the evening will be brought to a close with NorthStar so everyone can dance the night away.

Craft beer is, as always, the star of the show and this year we will be featuring local breweries including Weetwood, Spitting Feathers, Peerless, Salopian and Snowdonia Brewery. A variety of spirits, wines, ciders, lager and soft drinks will, of course be available. We will also have a coffee van with sweet treats to tempt us.

Reeno’s Pizza will be on hand to fill the hunger gaps on Friday evening and food on Saturday will be provided by Pizza Peddlers, Fully Loaded Grill for amazing burgers and fries. Oh, and an ice cream van, of course.

There will be football on the field, netball on the MUGA and a bouncy castle to keep the younger people occupied.

Advance ticket prices are £5 for Friday evening and £12 for Saturday, you can also buy a combined ticket for both days for £15. Tickets will be available on the day but will be a little more expensive.

As in previous years there will be no charge for under 18’s but we will be applying a strict Challenge 25 policy so if you are lucky enough to look younger than you are be sure to bring ID. Wristbands will again be issued to ticket holders – no wristband, no alcohol and we will be checking!

Please support our generous sponsors who helped us raise so much for our Raise the Roof fund over the last two years. Once again, we are supporting Project 28, a fund to enable us to carry out all the improvement work which has been on hold for the past three years while we were funding our new roof to make the facility even better for the local community.
