Family Friendly Fun Santa Dash
 

When:

Saturday 6^th December 2025, 12pm – 1pm.

Where:

Dalgety Bay Xmas Fair, Forthview Church, Regents Way, Dalgety Bay.

Distance:

2km (approx.)

Suitability:

All the family, course is a mixture of public paths and grass areas.  Walk, Jog or Run.

Cost:

£3pp or Family of 4 for £10.

Refund/ Cancellation:

Refunds will only be given if the event is cancelled. 

The event is weather dependant and if conditions are too risky, the event will be cancelled and full refunds given to those who request them.

Key Points:

▪          This event is a fun run for all the family, 

▪          Participants will be released in waves to ensure no overcrowding on paths.

▪          All participants will receive a Santa Hat to wear, but additional dressing up is highly encouraged.

▪          All finishers will receive a voucher for a hot drink in the tea room at the Xmas Fair.

▪          By booking a place, you are confirming that you are fit enough to take part.

▪          Any medical conditions should be noted on the reverse of the runner’s number bib and an emergency contact number included.

▪          The course will be Marshalled, with signage indicating the route, please adhere to any instructions from the Marshals, this may include stopping runners to allow vehicles to access 2 service roads that the route passes.

▪          All children should remain within arm’s reach of their adult, this may mean the adults need to run faster or the children slow down.

▪          Any dogs should be kept to 1 per adult and on a short hand held leash.

▪          We do not have sole use of the paths or the park, therefore please be considerate of other users and give way where possible.

▪          First Aiders will be present and a full first aid kit available.  Defib is located at the church.

On the day:

▪          Parking, there is limited parking at the church and the community centre, we recommend walking where possible, if parking in local roads, please be considerate of local residents and do not block any drives or junctions.

▪          Collection of your race bib will be at the Xmas Fair, from 10:30am until 11:30am, a small table to your left before heading towards the tea room.

▪          There are no changing facilities.

▪          Toilets are available within the Church.

▪          A Committee member will be present at the finish/ start the whole time, therefore personal belongings can be left, at the owner’s risk.

▪          Take care on the route and follow instructions from Marshals.

▪          HAVE FUN!!!!
