About Nancy May | Barley Social Hub

Following an extraordinary performance in Barley last year, Nancy is back by popular demand. Nancy May is an Essex based classical crossover soprano who trained at the Royal Northern College of Music.

Nancy has been touring as Russell Watson’s special guest for three consecutive years and has performed in iconic venues such as London Cadogan Hall, Manchester Bridgewater Hall and Buxton Opera House.

Nancy is passionate about supporting charities and has been humbled to sing each year at the Grenfell memorial service, with a performance at Westminster Abbey. Charities supported include Farleigh Hospice, Great Ormond Street Hospital, The Royal British Legion and more recently ‘FaNs Network’, a charity helping care homes throughout Essex.

Nancy will be singing some of her favourites including songs from musicals, popular operatic aria's, Classical favourites and more.

This is a fundraising event with profits from the afternoon going towards installing new facilities in Barley Church. Please do feel free to bring a cushion for the pews.
