About Level 2 Award in First Aid Essentials
This is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification which enables learners to gain the skills and knowledge needed to administer safe, prompt, effective first aid in situations which can arise during everyday life.
During this 1 day course, Learners will develop the skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of first aid situations, including: managing an unresponsive casualty, CPR, choking, external bleeding, shock and minor injuries.

Assessment Methods
5 x Practical assessments, 1 x Theory assessment (Multiple Choice Question Paper) and continuous formative assessment conducted throughout the course.
Successful Learners will receive a QA Level 2 Award in First Aid Essentials (RQF) E-certificate as well as a first aid book.
