About Auction of Promises

We will hold our first Auction of Promises for a while on Thursday 18th September 2025. The last one was cancelled when Covid got in the way in 2020. The evening will be held in the stunning barn at Pinglestone Farm, kindly donated by David Wakeham, and will start at 7pm when there will be:

• Louis Pommery English sparkling wine on arrival. Pommery were the first French champagne house to plant vines in England, at Pinglestone.

• A picnic supper; tables of 10 with each table to produce their own main course and pudding. You will be able to let us know when you buy your tickets if you have 10 sorted or would like to join others to make up a table. Bring your own crockery, cutlery, glassware and booze. There will also be a bar available.

• Supper will be followed by the Auction
